Welcome

60 years ago the church at St James (Pollok) was opened after being moved stone by stone from Pollokshields. In that same year the 208th Glasgow Team, The Life Boys  (The Junior Section
today) was formed. This led to the creation of the 208th Glasgow Boys' Brigade Company being formed in 1949.

This year and next we will celebrate the proudness of our existance here in Pollok. We are the only Company to survive out of the 3 that I knew of... (I'm showing my age now!!!) and I hope that we can continue to serve Pollok for many a year to come.

Leaders/Helpers Wanted :   Do you fancy a new challenge in life... can you give some of your time and talents for a few hours a week, chiefly Wednesday/Friday Nights..... If you are interested and wouldn't mind a Disclosure Scotland check being preformed, then please use the contact page and email  for further information.

To enable the Company to run each year we need to raise funds to pay Brigade fee's - includes insurance (Session 2008-2009 £90 plus £9.50 per boy) and to purchase materials/mini-bus hire/ cinema visits etc.

Please if you can, donate something using the button below to help with these costs. You will be directed to a PayPal Secure site where your details will be safe!!

Many Thanks

Captain
